Advanced Beginning and Intermediate level material, both grammar
and conversation. Every week students will have a chance to receive homework
corrected and commented on by the instructor. We will explore language used in
Brazilian music, movies and sport. Materials included.

IV & V
Students will have the opportunity to further skills in reading
comprehension & expand vocabulary. The class will also focus on
students developing ease with both oral & written communication through a
variety of exercises; includes content from Intro to Brazilian Literature &
Art course. Materials included.
INTRODUCTION
TO BRAZILIAN LITERATURE & ART
Embark on an exploration of the richness and diversity of
world-acclaimed Brazilian Literature and Art. Moving from the 16th
century Quinhentismo to Contemporary works, we'll explore history, biography,
genre and style. Whether you are new to the culture or native, this
promises to be a grand literary adventure. Class conducted in Portuguese.
